Book Clubs
Anything Goes Book Club
The Anything Goes Book Club is hosted by the Lamoni Public Library, and run by it's members! If you would like to receive emails on what books are being read email the Lamoni Library at lamonilibrarystaff@gmail.com.
The club meets every third Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Library meeting room. Copies of the choosen book, for the upcomming meeting, can be found at the front desk a month before the scheduled meeting for that book.
Books are mainly choosen in advance so that the librarians can make sure they can be obtained. All members are welcome to bring suggestions of books to the meetings. They can be added to the master list suggestions or voted in on the day they are presented. After a librarian confirms books can be borrowed a meeting will be added.
This club uses a third party app called BookMovement that sends email notices about meetings. If you would like to join this club contact lamonilibrary@gmail.com. Once you have been added you will recieve an email from BookMovement to confirm your account. You must confirm the account to recieve emails.
Kid's Book Club
The Kid's Book club is run by volunteers who hold or have held positions in the surrounding school districts. Our library helps them choose books, borrow multiple copies, and distribute them to the kids who would like to participate!
The kids get a month to read the story then they meet at the library 10:30 on a Saturday. They dicuss the book before ending with an activity or craft that relates to the book that was read.

Other Clubs
For other book clubs in the area not directly hosted by the Lamoni Public Library, we are availble to help support your club by obtaining copies of your chosen book. You can also book our meeting room for your meetings by using the button below. Meetings can occur outside of regular hours.
